Taking a view from POSCO's perspective, if they would like to secure all of Mt Cattlin supply and remove the middle man what options might they place on the table?
If Mt Cattlin goes away, then all those independent converters buying from us in China would be screwed.
Offtake deals have already been made with current producers including those ramping up.
The last time Mt Cattlin closed down, the lithium price took off.
I am not saying that we should close Mt Cattlin, but should that supply be diverted away from where it is currently being applied, then that could bring some incredibly exciting times across all lithium stocks.
