Here's a copy of a post I made in early January after a useful conversation with HGO:
"I think it is fair to assume that management and directors are directing their expertise to using as much of the available franking credits as possible in case of a change in Government. This could involve dividends paid out from profits until at least mid-June 2019. It could well be that the full dividend will not be announced with the 2018 result but delayed until the AGM or maybe later. No real suggestions on the quantum of dividends."
I don't think liquidity would allow payout of all franking credits (as mining will of the Giant Pit will continue until about June). However the Board is exercising its collective mind on the potential dividends.
