Hughes Drilling (ASX:HDX) has been awarded a three year contract from Yancoal Australia (ASX:YAL) for the provision of overburden drilling services at the Yarrabee, Cameby Downs and Duralie coal mines.
This new contract begins from 1st July 2015 and includes options to extend for a further year.
Yancoal is one of the largest export coal miners in Australia, producing both thermal and metallurgical coals from its portfolio of mines located in Queensland and New South Wales.
It also manages on behalf of its majority shareholder an additional two mines located in Queensland and Western Australia.
