use analysts predictions with a grain of salt, can be useful to create your own models with different variables. I tend to do that with mining especially, rip their spreadsheet data and change what I think is correct or feasible.
at the end of the day, if your gains outweigh the losses and you’re above the ASX200 benchmark, you’re winning and beating 95% of highly paid fund managers that get paid handsomely to underachieve an index fund.
I just accumulate quality stocks on weakness and stay away from debt laden or structurally stuffed industries.
