True, but the company was established in 2009. I think they are in a tough market with a lot of disruption that can come from anywhere.

The larger companies in the same market could easily buy a disrupting deep learning technology and/or have their own deep learning research/product development that could trump what Icetana can currently offer in benefits.

I think Icetana should look at what they can do in deep learning on the edge edge (of the network) to enable a client cost saving narrative when doing sales in regards to removing the requirement for clients to have a fibre network infrastructure for their surveillance camera networks on fibre networks.

The Bosch system we implemented needed 3 x264 streams for the implementation at an average of about 6 - 8 Mbps per stream per camera (one going to the security company, one for the council to be able to view and one going to the server for recording). It may have provided some redundancy, but it also created a ridiculous cost in regards to installing fibre networks for the sites.
