Interesting indeed. So IDA does not receive 100% of any successful litigation proceeds but will receive 83.7% of either 70% or 85% of the payout less the share claimed by the litigation funders. Working on a perhaps optimistic net ( After litigation funders fee) payout of $70 Million IDA would receive either $41.7 Million or $49.8 Million and in the event of a much more modest payout of $50 million IDA would receive either $29.3 Million or $35.6 Million
Still a fantastic windfall for the company but certainly not the $100 Million loosely talked about. Heres hoping the LRI mob are unsuccessful in their dispute.
