Since the Great Financial Services Scandal that erupted in 2015 the mind of Australian Financial Review journalist, Adele Ferguson, which was subsequently followed by a Sam Dastyari-led Senate Inquiry into IFL's alleged conduct, IFL has seen uninterrupted positive fund flows in every single quarter since then, cumulatively totaling $6.5bn.
Which is starkly different outcome compared to the alarm and dismay, and the gloom and doom, that was being propagated on this very forum at the time:
Reading through some of those posts, one would have been forgiven in thinking that the company was at real risk of ceasing to exist, let alone move forward like it has, in the form of billions of dollars continuing to come in through the door.
I guess the AFR might have jagged a few more readers and Senator Dastyari might have secured a few more votes out of the drama they created...
