Can I pose a question? What if the shares, on market, fall below $3.50 between now and when the offer becomes available to shareholders, would this mean that IFL would not be able to raise the funds because no one would participate, especially if they can buy shares cheaper on market? If this event happens (and it is entirely likely) would IFL be forced to walk away from the deal as they could not raise the additional funds or reduce the placement price to shareholders just to get them to participate?
we only have 8c to fall and then a dividend ex date which will drop the share value by at least 11.5c so we should be well under $3.50 on market by then?
could someone with any experience in this type of event shed some light on this question?
