Not sure about others but I have been here Fortune. It's like anything else in life, you learn from your mistakes. My only additional advice will be not to rush into buying things and develop a portfolio with pre-determined weighting. For example, if your investment capital is $10,000, you should buy at least, 10 companies with equal weighting to start with. This will protect you in the long run as not all these companies will go down (unless there is market-wide events such as COVID19 but then they will go back as well). Pick up established companies just after they have gone ex-dividend i.e. the date at which you will not be getting the recent dividend. Quite often shares go down more than the dividend amount. At the moment, RHC, MND, IFL, WPL, SDI, AGL, TLS, PTM, PAM are somewhat undervalued. (Not a bargain but most likely not expensive, too). TLS and WPL are riskier than the rest (and yes, there will always be a risk!). I am not suggesting you to buy these stocks and even if I were, you should not follow my advice or anyone's advice as none of us really know what is going to happen next. All of us are taking an educated guess and some of us are experienced and very skilled. In general, you will do well if you pick more winners than losers but whoever claims to get it right 100% of the time, he is the luckiest guy on the face of the earth, if not a blatant lier!
