Not looking is a very sound decision some days especially if you are likely to get spooked by what seems to be doom and disaster. However it is best to remember the adage that they are only losses on paper if the share price drops significantly. The losses only become real when you decide to be spooked and sell . Then you confirm your loss. Better to leave the market to go through its gyrations than to get upset and do your dough.
