TERP is the theoretical ex rights price and based on a simple formula and the key word is theoretical. Yes theoretically all other things being equal the ex rights price should be $4.26.
But this ignores other issues such as additional debt, reduction in cash, synergies, was the last trade at fair market price, are they paying a fair price for the acquisition etc
