re: MLC brokers are leaving in droves Brokers are forever moving around but this statement re "droves" is news to my MLC broker neighbour Geoff. He said the last couple of years has been a bit of a turmoil but this IFL deal gives certainty and direction. MLC has been quoted as a $3.5b company for which IFL are paying <$1.5b. And as anyone business person knows you do not pay the full price up front in these circumstances. Apart from an initial payment the remainder is staged over 12 months allowing for some agents to drop off for any number of reasons so IFL will end up paying less than the advertised amount amount. You only pay for what you end up with.
