Re media (and sometimes analyst) coverage of IFL - I have followed this stock for many years. It seems to me that when IFL announce an acquisition they receive zero praise and only brickbats. I have been the beneficiary of a steady dividend for years and while Kelaher is no longer there, his influence lives on in the company's approach to growth, cost out and acquisitions. I only hope their approach to governance improves.
This is a BIG acquisition and I wish Renato well in integrating it. If he follows the well worn approach (and the deal passes all regulatory approvals), we shareholders should have nothing to fear.
