I don’t think your analogy quite stacks up. No single farmer has ever received millions of dollars in drought relief and then made a $2.2M profit. Ignite has not made a profit for years. In their update they broke their profit down. They received 2.6M from job keeper, so in real terms they made another loss of around $400K for the half. If you want to be fair give the $2.2m profit back to the government for those that need it. Job keeper was designed so employees did not lose their jobs not so companies could line their pockets. By the way, I think this should happen with every company that has posted a profit not just IGN. Some, including Nick Scali have already done it.
