- Port Thevenard outage-ilu.ax
- Shipping of heavy mineral concentrate (hmc) from port of thevenard ( port), south australia, has been suspended
- Is currently investigating alternative avenues of transport for jacinth-ambrosia hmc, through one of other ports in region
- Flinders ports (owner of port) has informed Iluka that it has safety concern surrounding structural integrity of sections of jetty
- "It is not clear when loading activities at port will be resumed"
- "Disruption is unlikely to have an impact on production guidance for 2017"
- "Given Iluka's sufficient inventory of zircon (as finished product), no impact on sales volumes for 2017 is expected"
