IMI appears to me to be a reasonable punt at .1 (no higher) of a cent PROVIDED the "takeover" proceeds. Two previous "takeover" proposals over the past 18 months have fallen over. This one looks a lot better than the other two and has a prospect of being a better outcome for the current top 10 shareholders.
The remaining 1500 shareholders will, as Nuke says, will be finally "scewed" and left by the road side.
Management actually wrote shareholders off some years ago. A future for IMI has never been about IMI shareholders. Its been about the ongoing future of a listed company entity and bragging writes for the Board who will claim to have turned scrubber into a silk purse. This may well happen but the future company wont ever know about the sacrificial lambs (IMI shareholders and the millions of dollars) who were slaughtered and burned in the process.
