A pro mining govt is critical.
I have held another asx listed mining stock in Malawi and nothing - zero has materialized in 4 1/2 years of Muthy since he took presidency despite EU funding and expertise to develop a mining industry.
In his released Malawi development plan - nothing re mining. He is even on record saying Malawi has no minerals. Dear o dear professor.
Similar to that of GGG in Greenland - now there is change and optimism.
So I'm a little excited with the prospects of a MCP led govt especially now Chakwera has stated he will put pressure to have the new mines and minerals bill implemented.
Which of course is only the first step but a very big one that gives clarity to all vested parties and peoples
