just learn to read maybe, they are saying that sea level rises due to climate change will make tsunamis, storm surges even more devastating. (Not that they effect volcanic activity..)
The Tonga tsunami wave was measured only 83cm at the Tonga capital and caused a lot of damage, add another 50cm and it would have been much worse.
