hi all. the rationale for ferts and explosives together is the common production of ammonia as a feedstock for both. with the closure of GI this is less compelling. it's just possible that this is a strong economic decision as a result of high Australian gas prices. and that PE or WES may pay more for Dyno seperate from ferts. possible also that farmers or GrainCorp take a position in the fert business and keep it strong for farmers. I do agree that the messaging is poor and market reflects that. mgt could have promoted this better.
