The price action today was more around the EQT takeover. At a conditional offer of $15.30 - $15.50 the Shareprice was never going to exceed $15. We did almost hit an ATH, last one was back in April 2019 at $14.77.
EQT are serious players, so its great to see that they are targeting IRE.
The various announcements today of the $100m buy-back and NPAT forecast is the Board's way of driving a better takeover offer for shareholders.
