Headline AIM Resources says Perkoa infrastructure on target to be completed next quarter

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - AIM Resources Ltd, the Africa-focused mining ventures developer, said construction of the mining camp and infrastructure for the Perkoa zinc project in Burkina Faso is on target to be completed by the next quarter.
It said Outokumpo will be supplying a mill for the project and delivery is expected late in 2007, 'well ahead of schedule', thus reducing lead times and avoiding any steel price increases.
The order for the power station has been given to Caterpillar subsidiary, AG Delmas, and African Power Systems, while crushers have been ordered from Sandvik.
It said it has given the contract for fuel facility for the underground mining operations, process plant and power station to Shell Oil.
