Asked another company director who I'm pretty chummy with, and who has cut his teeth on these kind of projects before, about his opinion...absolutely scathing!
So here's hoping this is not just an equity interest but that there is some other reason for it...eg perhaps exclusive access to their tenements to look for gold, infrastructure sharing of some type (eg the haul road), etc etc.
Having said that, regardless of what the detail is, to be able to throw around money like this suggests to me that Paulsens this quarter is making money like its going out of fashion...so if the market takes a negative view of it, I may well be topping up further.
