Kazakhstan-focused oil explorer Jupiter Energy Limited (ASX:JPR) has received approval for two separate trial production licenses from Kazakh regulatory authorities.
The licenses pertain to two wells that can be produced under Trial Production for a maximum of three years, in which time oil will be sold into the domestic market in Kazakhstan.
Jupiter says it plans to develop the wells from trial to full production ahead of the maximum three year trial period.
Full production will also enable the wells to move from domestic to export sales.
Jupiter Energy reported a $4.3 million loss for the 2012 financial year.
