Some say, I don't delete certain posts when I should.

Often, posts are deleted 4 hours or later. A poster may spot that post one hour after someone has posted it and thinks that it won't be deleted.

One can't expect a moderator to be on the job for 18 hrs/day.

Neither will he read all the posts as there are some 1700 or so a day.

Yes, some are missed however, it is a matter of posters observing the rules and moderators to see that it is done.

Quite a few posters don't know the rules or don't think it applies to them.

I don't have guidelines, I don't make up rules: H/C does.

As to who are the "real ratbags", if there are then sooner or later they will need to explain their behaviour.

However, one could always apply that argument of "being hard done by". And many do.
