Ha! Compare today's announcement to my forecasts on 31/5....... i am officially a guru!!! Man, i should get a job as a stockbroker :) :). These figures are ***exactly*** what i predicted on HC a few months ago - EBITDA of $21M and PBT of $12.6M. So on that basis i hardly consider today's announcement as 'news'! Sorry for tooting my own horn guys, but i'm pretty pleased with my forecasting methods right now!
In all seriousness, today is a good confirmation of things to come. Minimum offer price from Cape should be $1.25, any given the way things are traveling it's hard to see the Board recommending anything below that.
If the Cape bid falls through and the price pulls back to under a dollar, it'd be another good buying opportunity in my opinion. I'll wait until the proper FY'07 report comes out but just quickly glancing at those numbers released today, $40M+ EBITDA would seem quite achievable for FY'08.... and they say FY'09 will be much stronger than FY'08!!!!!
