I'm encouraged by the fact that the BOD said it would be a "graduated restart".
So it came as a surprise, to see the 40kbpd being hit consistently (and without the notorious gas flare issue), so quickly.
I feel it should be no surprise to see them twist a few knobs (yeah, seasoned oiler here), especially during this tax surcharge period and leading into the Jul23 maintenance period.
I salivate at the FY24 FCF forecast. Either Dividends or Acquisitions should set a fire under the share price here.
Despite the receding PoO, Petrobras' share price continues to bounce, up 20% in the past 2 weeks (by 40% the past 6 months). Its not all bad in the Oilers. Chevron and others, down over 10% from their 52wk highs. They neared the bear 20% down but have since recovered, as Bretton Woods 3 plays out. The DOW now up ~20% from its 52 week low (technical bull run?). Everything's OK, apparently /s.
