Gold typically does well due to the fiscal/monetary response that tends to follow a crashing equity market. Maybe if equities (and gold) sell off hard enough, the Fed will come to the rescue (delays to QT and rate hikes) and gold will regain its mojo.

As for KCN, everything (for the short to medium term at least) depends on the upcoming Ann. Will the Company (a) deliver a settlement? (b) extend the negotiation period, (c) pick up stumps and head to the Tribunal? Personally, I think a or b are the most likely outcomes. Although I do think if a settlement is announced, it may not meet the frothy expectations of many excited longs
