Gross is still important with high growth companies, Amazon made barely any net profit until 2018 as it was scaling its business but people still valued it for potential despite near no profit per share. At today's value for kgn the profit before tax looks like it will be around 4.5% per share which is good as it is a virtually no debt company so they don't leverage for earnings. On top of that gross sales are still growing rapidly. apprx. 100million more gross for the year, this is big!
Side note: I bought in again this morning at 6.02 so I have vested interest :/
