DEBT (*) The head of Italy's banking association Antonio Patuelli warned on Friday that the country risked "speculative attacks" from financial markets unless it cut its public debt. In an interview with la Repubblica, Patuelli said that Italian 10-year government bond yields were the highest in the euro zone and Rome's debt servicing costs next year would approach 100 billion euros ($109 billion).

COMPANIES INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI The Italian bank's private banking business said on Thursday it had agreed to sell the majority of its small Swiss asset manager Asteria to Man Group EMG.L under a partnership with the British active investment management firm.
(*) UNICREDIT CRDI.MI The Italian bank has completed the first tranche of its proposed stock buyback over 2022 earnings, acquiring 6.44% of its own share capital for an outlay of more than 2.43 billion euros ($2.64 billion), it said on Thursday.
(*) STELLANTIS STLAM.MI The auto maker has signed an offtake and equity investment agreement with Australia-listed Kuniko (KNI) , the latest of a string of deals aiming to give the carmaker stable supply of key materials for vehicle batteries.
(*) ENEL ENEI.MI The chief executive of Enel Americas Maurizio Bezzeccheri will leave his position from July 1 to be replaced in an interim capacity by CFO Aurelio Bustilho De Oliveira, the South American unit of the Italian utility said on Thursday.
FERRARI RACE.MI The luxury sports automaker on Thursday unveiled two new plug-in hybrid models, produced in limited series and hitting the top end of the its price range.
ERG ERG.MI The Italian energy company has signed an agreement with Achernar Assets AG for the sale of the Priolo Gargallo thermoelectric plant for 191.5 million euros, including working capital and tax credits of 88.5 million.
GPI GPI.MI The Italian healthcare group said it had signed a deal for the purchase of France's Evolucare for around 109 million euros, adding the deal would help it to consolidate its role as a key player in the digital health sector in Europe.
