@lethal and @weightlifter the Maths are very obvious in the announcement.
40,000 licences giving you US$6m = US$150/licence
US$6m = A$9m on the exchange rate.
That is $9m cash straight to the bottom line. With "similar" amounts to be deployed next year. Previous commentary on number of licences required in all the relevant districts in NYC elude to 300k. At $150/licence, that is pretty punchy in total.
Keep in mind this is just NYC. It does not include NY State...only NYC.
