Dec 7 (Reuters) - Westpac Banking Corp (WBC) will sell its Pacific businesses, which include those in Fiji and Papua New Guinea, for up to A$420 million ($312.1 million), Australia's No. 3 lender said on Monday, as it redirects its focus to local operations.
The lender expects a loss of A$230 million on the sale to Kina Securities Ltd (KSL) , but expects it to boost core capital by 3 basis points.
