Lachlan Star (ASX:LSA) has been granted an ASX trading halt in relation to negotiations with Hamilton Place Associates LLC (“HPA”) regarding the purchase of its subsidiary DMC Newco Pty Ltd.
Earlier this month, the company received a proposal under which HPA would have an option to purchase 100% of the shares in DMC, which owns the Chilean operating companies.
It has been in discussions with HPA regarding the availability of a working capital facility.
The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being made or the start of trade on Monday, 16th February 2015.
