Sad to see that the manufacturing industry calling for export restrictions on gas seems to be the level of debate in this country at the moment. How can industry lobby for more government interfearence in the market place after all the legislative disasters of late? Short term knee jerk reactions from governmnets to green scaremongering is bad enough without industry groups pushing for the similar poorly thought out policy flips. Cheap gas will only be available when the supply side ramps up and brings extra gas to the market as in the USA.
