Leighton International was always going to need an Indian partner to get further ahead in India imho. Otherwise it would have continued to be treated as "foreign" putting it at a disadvantage when bidding for govt. infrastructure work.
The one off profit should also ensure stable divis in the first half, in spite of previously announced writedowns.
