Lend Lease Group Ltd (ASX:LLC) has announced that it has scored a $167 million contract from Delta Air Lines.
The contract includes managing an expansion and renovation of the Delta Air Lines Terminal 4 at John F Kennedy Airport in New York.
The upgraded Terminal 4 has been designed to reduce congestion in the airline baggage claim and security checkpoint areas.
Managing director Steve McCann says they company is well positioned to leverage from a recovery in the US, and there are positive signs that market conditions are stabilising.
Lend Lease lifted its interim earnings by 10.5 per cent, posting a net profit of $227 million in the six months to 31 December 2010.
