I have not read the document but what that generally means is 75% of the total votes submitted. So if 100% of the shareholders return all of the votes it means he will need 75%. If 10% of the total share holders vote he will only need 7.5% of the total 10%. It comes down to mums and dads voting. They generally dont so the chances of him getting it up is very high. I am sure he has already spoken to the top 10 so dont be surprised its a done deal...These things normally are. I have not read many of the details as LNC for me is a long term hold in the super fund so it doesnt effect me either way. I would like to see if he can get this up. I think its a good thing anyway, Asians love to invest money in new opportunties. You might say they can on the ASX but how many investors on hotcopper invest on any other international exchanges.
I know I dont but really should. There is no excuse.
