It's just BS Newscorp clickbait. If you're actually invested in ADO, I'd steer clear of climate change-sceptic media sources when looking for commentary on EV's. Yes, without a doubt they're cutting costs, but that also plays into our court. As for ditching EV's, that's just BS.
One point to note is that Mercedes has a complicated brand structure...with AMG often being their high end performance vehicles. As for AMG branded EV's, I have no idea, but as it stands now, it's very much hinted at ADO's AnteoX, and possibly less likely at this current stage, Ultranode, being included in the 2025 (or possibly 2026) CLA EV range that is the most promising near term EV win. Maybe the hybrid version too, not sure. But it'll probably be their flagship EV model (not withstanding a compact version).
It's pretty much all the breadcrumbs that some fine posters on this forum have managed to scavenge so far. Time will tell. GLTAH
