ASX 200 breaks four-day losing streak
Energy stocks mark fourth straight day of losses
Lendlease rises after announcing business overhaul

Australian shares snapped a four-day losing streak to end higher on Monday, reflecting a rally in rate-sensitive financials and real estate stocks, with property giant Lendlease Group boosting gains after announcing a major business overhaul.
The S&P/ASX 200 index (xjo) rose 0.8% to 7,788.30 points at the close of trade.
Lendlease Group (LLC) ended the day as one of the top gainers on the benchmark as it announced plans to exit its overseas construction businesses. Its shares settled 8% higher.
Market participants awaited April inflation data, due on Wednesday, which will be key for an assessment of the interest rate trajectory.
"The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will not cut before the Federal Reserve. It will continue to watch and wait," Henry Jennings, a senior market analyst at Marcustoday said. He expects the RBA to be on hold for another three months at least.
Rate-sensitive financials .AXFJ were up 0.8% at close, with the big four banks rising between 0.7% and 1.4%.
Real estate stocks .AXRE ended the day 1.8% higher, with Mirvac Group (MGR) and Dexus (DXS) rising 0.4% and 0.7%, respectively.
Miners .AXMM closed 0.5% higher, with the world's largest listed miner BHP (BHP) gaining 1.14%.
Gold stocks .AXGD rallied as well, snapping four consecutive sessions of losses, after bullion prices rebounded.
Shares of Northern Star Resources (NST) were up 1.8%, while Evolution Mining (EVN) closed 2.6% higher.
Energy stocks .AXEJ fell 0.2% to mark their fourth straight day of losses.
Shares of sector giant Woodside Energy (WDS) closed 0.8% lower, logging its lowest close since May 17.
New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index (nz50) fell 0.2% to finish the session at 11,756 points.
