Ah I didn't want to reply till it clear we talking about the Takeover not the UK scheme.
@Muza I'm still hopeful there will be a competing bid - I've taken part in lot of these schemes and I notice a few patterns.
1) a rival takeover bid comes promptly after the first bid and there is this bidding war.
2) rival takeover bid comes in at the last moment (or after it's clear there aren't any other hurdles and regulatory issues) and maybe even wait till the independent state of advice/valuation (which almost always says it's fair AND reasonable - note sometimes it can be one but not the other - forget which - it could be NOT fair but reasonable and still pass the test). This could drag the whole thing out as then there maybe a bidding war....
3) nothing happens and you have to be happy with the bid - or vote against it.
I suppose depends on markets and if anyone is sniffing around.
