I have always paid my taxes according to the ATO's interpretation of tax legislation and i still do. Unlike News Ltd & other Multinationals I do not have the international trade nor debt loading from overseas (particularly ex tax havens) to permit me to transfer price, debt load or cash boxing in Tax havens.
IMO we have national borders for national security 7 we should exercise those borders also for economic security purposes. If Multinationals dont like that, then others will fill that business void who are willing to be good corporate citizens and pay their fair share of Aussie tax rather than bludge.
By the way I voted Lib last election so I'm not a "Socialist " just a small l Liberal.

To advocate an increase in Tax, particularly corporate tax, does not imply socialism, mate, its simply" paying the bill after we've eaten the stake". That's capitalism in my language !
