Also everyone remember that the original LTR BOD's announcement about recommending the ALB offer said they recommended in in the absence of a "superior proposal". They did NOT say in the absence of a superior bid. The wording was that way for a reason. Everyone should go back and read it if they are unsure. Gina only has to come up with a proposal which the BOD reasonably considers superior (for example with easy funding and joint downstream refining to justify shareholders getting a better deal) and they can and will reject the ALB offer IMO. Many big shareholders will then follow them (I will) and ALB is dead unless ALB increases its bid (substantially I would suggest). I am happy either way and will do what Tim and the BOD recommend. Shorters are dead in the water which ever way it goes and the SP is only up from here. The LTR fairytale continues.
