I've done a little bit more snooping around into the history of OLY as I needed to find out "WHY" LTR have pursued a deal here.
Apparently the ground they're sampling is littered pegmatites at both Mulline and Mulwarrie. (particularly Mulwarrie)
In history, OLY were always looking for gold but never checked any assays for Lithium.
Check ann dated 02/06/2022
and in particular ann dated 15th August 2022.
Olympio’s Managing Director, Sean Delaney, commented:
“We are at a very early stage of our lithium exploration campaign at Mulwarrie. The historical drilling data and
mapping confirms that Mulwarrie contains a significant number of pegmatites.
“Our exploration efforts will continue over the coming months as the weather improves so we can get back in the field
and continue to sample pegmatites across the whole tenement area.
HOWEVER, it appears that nothing ever came about this campaign (or it was locked up) because I cant find any more info about this until LTR pops up doing a deal....
