Lynas boss lashes out at pretenders to rare earths throne

Ms Lacaze lashed out after receiving feedback that Lynas had put out a “light” presentation to accompany its first-half results.“I guess others need to pad their presentations where they have light or no operating data.

I would rather our numbers speak for themselves,” she said.“We are a proven producer now for many years, we have a track record of on-time, on-budget execution which is something that has really dogged the market outside China.

“We make money without any fancy adjustments to our P&L [profit and loss]. I must say that in terms of an investment in this market it looks to me on the fundamentals that we are significantly cheaper than some others.”
