Personally I see very little that LYC+MP could achieve beyond Lynas alone.
We have the better deposit and far better separation tech.
Capacity post Kal & Texas expansion seems more than enough for current demand.
I've little faith in the MP magnets project and Lynas have plenty of current partnerships perfectly capable of scaling up as required including in the US.
Lynas did really miss an opportunity to buy Mt Pass for bugger all in its bankruptcy.
There have been good arguments for multiple ex-China REE supply chains and I agree. A Lynas-MP merger would simply enforce a monopoly source and encourage the development of further sources.
