Not really sure why this news item is causing concern. Rare earth processing is not easy and China is far and away the industry leader. Lynas is in the best position outside China, albeit with its own challenges. We haven't heard mention of the blue line joint venture recently inand don't need it imo, plus the locals were starting to jump up and down nimby. US govt showing strength of support. None of this is actually new. So why the angst?
