You're assuming politics is rational, it's not. Amanda needs to stop being polite and go for the jugular. Only that will work and shareholders deserve no less. Meanwhile, Lynas needs to be making plans to expand elsewhere. The great strength of this company is in its resources and knowledge gained operating the Lamp. The mines Lynas owns are NOT in Malaysia. The political problems for Lynas in Malaysia are an inconvenience, not a game changer.
