July 2023 is the "drop dead date" after which Malaysia will not allow Lynas to import ore concentrate from Mt Weld.

In December 2021 Lynas posted the Kalgoorlie Process Manager position and indicated the "feed on" date for KAL operations would be "late 2022". "Feed on" is not a precise timepoint in my opinion, but the beginning of many qualifying activities in pursuit of commission.

OTOH, the original "announcement" of the "feed on" date window was not an official ASX announcement or even a company announcement; it was only stated as part of the posted position:
"Lynas is embarking on an expansion in Western Australia and we’re looking for a driven Process Manager for our Kalgoorlie Rare Earths Processing Facility, due for feed on in late 2022."

Nonetheless, it's out there, and if they miss that "late 2022" window, it won't be entirely without risk to the share price, imho.

As they just added $75M to the KAL project to support roll-out of "new process" developed in conjunction CSIRO et al, it might behoove them to also issue new commentary on "feed on" in a timely manner, i.e., before the "late 2022" window is closed.
