Agreed that LYC need to mitigate the Malaysian risk but I would suggest the biggest asset they have is their IP because you can be sure going forward in another location would come with the knowledge & lessons learnt in Malaysia - with a lot less cost and problems. I also find it hard to believe that the Japanese who have significant tech interests in Malaysia and would not be spooked by this saga.
What has surprised me is that LYC management didn't see it coming by the fact they have no immediate reply.
