Lynas Says It Held Talks With MP Materials on Potential Deal
Not sure if this posts from Bloomberg but the new information is that Lynas had approached MP with a significant offer to merge that would have ‘challenged’ Chinese dominance in industry. The rest we know but it would seem the parties are coming under increased pressure from their major investors and governments outside of China to effect some sort of merger. More will undoubtedly be revealed soon if not an actual announcement coinciding with the half yearly report.
