Actually, I do know what has a very high probability of happening. Lynas SP has been much higher than traditional metrics have justified for almost 8 years. It is excitement just like Dot Com, Banks and now AI. These always come back to earth usually in a very painful way for the stock holders. It is simple it takes Earnings for a company to grow. The SP over time will always reflect the company size. Right now the Book value of this company is AUD 2.2B Market cap is $6B. If company was growing 20% per year this might be justified. It has not grown 3% in last year! In spite of JARE activities. 2022 BV AUD 1.6B, PG 57 of AR. 2023 $2.16B pg 58 of AR. SAR report 2024 2.20B pG 18 SAR. . JMO 2024 AR will be <2.22 B at best. So the company has stopped growing what do you see that justifies the SP 2024 if my estimate is correct will grow 2.7%.
They have had two years of steeply declining earning 2022 AUD 541M $2023 310M 2024 probably < $100M (we will know in AUG.) Currently PE is about 30 For a company with 2 years of declining revenue and earnings this is unheard of.
If you think Lynas stock will go up in spite of this data i would realy like to know why and time frame.
Yes it will go up but it will be a few years out. It will drop a lot more before it goes up. This is not a garmented but very probable. Good investors go with the most likely thing to happen. Nothing is guaranteed. My current estimate is below $5.00 in September. What is yours?
You have been saying "Buy" as the stock has dropped 45% in last 2 years. What do you see that will cause the stock to go up in next year? If you cannot answer this than you are just a lot of hot air. Apr. 2022 11.56 to 6.40 = 44.7%
